St Benedict's Feast - 2023

We celebrated the feast of St. Benedict, our patron saint, on the 9th of July 2023 with an amazing group of Old Benedictines and their families. The day began with Holy Mass at 9:30 AM at the Mary Magdalens Catholic Church in Chadstone.

With over 110 guests attending, it was a delightful day filled with joy, laughter, and, of course, delicious Sri Lankan food. We gathered together as a family and indulged in the aromatic flavours that transported us back to our beloved island.

There was a great sing-along and dancing on the day with the celebration continuing pretty late into the evening.

The Old Bens were also introduced to the STEM project in detail and we had some commitments of Robots and Tablets by those attending.
