A Night to Remember: The Lankan Fusion Celebration

On the evening of November 9, 2024, Benedictines from near and far gathered for an unforgettable night at the *Lankan Fusion Night*, hosted by Bens OBU Vic. The event, which took place at The Attic Pinewood in Mount Waverley, brought together close to 60 participants, with the Benedictine cricketers especially well-represented in the crowd. 

It was a night designed to celebrate brotherhood, strengthen bonds, and create lasting memories. The energy in the room was infectious as members of all ages connected, laughed, and enjoyed the company of fellow Benedictines and their partners. The event was filled with delicious food, vibrant music, and an atmosphere that embodied the spirit of our community.

The evening began with a delightful entree of devilled chickpeas, pork, chicken, and cuttlefish, setting the stage for an amazing dinner. Guests were treated to a satisfying spread of Kottu and fried rice, ensuring everyone left with full bellies and happy hearts.

DJ Ranga and DJ Navva provided the perfect soundtrack for the night, keeping the dance floor lively and the spirits high. 

This adult-only gathering was a memorable celebration of our shared history and the bonds that make the Benedictine community so special. Thank you to everyone who came and made the event such a success—we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
